Dog Day Afternoon at Lost and Grounded Brewers

Lost and Grounded Brewers are once again hosting their Dog Day Afternoon, in search of the next doggy supermodels to feature on a new limited edition can design.

The event will raise money for registered charity Street Vet, who offer free veterinary care to dogs and pets of people experiencing homelessness in the UK.

People are invited to bring their dogs along to the brewery taproom for the day and can enter in a series of competitions and activities. Activities on the day include a furry fashion parade, pet portraits, Musical Sits (Musical Chairs for Dogs!) and dog contests which will be scored by three special guest judges. Contests include: Shinest Coat, Best Trick, Furriest Paws, Longest Ears, Goodest Girl and Bestest Boy. There will be prizes up for grabs as well as a chance for dogs to win their photo on the next special release can design.

The taproom will be serving all of Lost and Grounded's favourite beers, with £1 per pint also being donated to Street Vet, as well as a selection of wines, cider and soft drinks. Food will be available from local food pop-up, DogTown, who will be cooking up their tasty, fully loaded hotdogs and fries. There will also be pop-up stalls from local independent traders who will be selling a selection of dog themed items including treats and accessories.
