Join body casting artist Ellen Downes for this very special bust casting workshop at the beautiful Now Studio.
Your host Ellen, who runs Bristol body casting studio, Every Body’s Story, will introduce you to the basics of body casting and guide you through making a cast with someone you love. You will be doing the cast of the person you come along with, so make sure you come along as a pair. You both need to book separately.
In this workshop you will…
Be introduced to the therapeutic and ancient art of body casting which can be a healing and ceremonial way of connecting to the body.
Have the chance to play with plaster, and learn to create a body cast as a pair or group
Have your own cast to take home with you to treasure, as a symbol of your friendship, love and connection with the person you made the cast with
