Beyond Submergence will be a world-first 20,000sq ft. exhibition, curated by Cheltenham-based award-winning art collective Squidsoup.
Masterful in their use of light, space, sound, scale, movement and technology, Squidsoup create immersive experiences that invite an emotional response from guests. With several travelling artworks as part of their in-demand portfolio, which pull in crowds wherever in the world they find themselves, five of the largest pieces are now being brought together for the very first time in Beyond Submergence.
The exhibition will make use of Propyard’s vast industrial spaces and areas - welcoming guests to explore a series of works that run in a sequence. Designed to be seen in groups, from any angle, from within or the edges, the artworks are both inclusive and immersive; blurring the boundaries between the works and the spaces they inhabit.
Details of the artworks will be announced shortly, and Bristol residents and visitors are encouraged to sign up for pre-sale to be the first to hear about the first tickets going on sale for the exhibition. Tickets are limited and are expected to sell very fast.
